CVA and ANCOP.au have joined forces, leaning on each other’s strengths and broadening the horizons of possibilities. 

The CVA support/admin team has given you the link to this page as a valued CVA member. On behalf of ANCOP.au, WELCOME. 

At this stage, you might not quite know what ANCOP.au is about other than enabling secure communications between you and other members. For a more in-depth overview of ANCOP.au, you should visit our network overview. 

To help you with the onboarding, you should first read this page.  

CVA and ANCOP

Your CVA administrator should have sent you a discount code. That code gives you a 50% discount for the first year. 

  1. Select ANCOP – Yearly
  2. Then click on the link “Click here to enter your discount code

Note: Your discount code is NOT the Group/Family code, so do not enter it there; it will not work. 

After you click the link “Click here to enter your discount code” you will see the following input box. The Discount Code input box is where you enter your given discount code. 

  1. Enter your discount code in the input field
  2. Click on Apply

 

Upon clicking “Apply”, the screen will change, closing the Discount Code input box, and it will calculate your discount. 

The code used will show (see the red arrow). In this example, we masked the code for privacy).

The green circle shows a 50% discount for your subscription. Make sure you check that before proceeding. 

Now it is time to enter your details. We need to follow a few simple rules here. 

  1. Your username must be in lowercase, with no spaces and no special characters. 
  2. Password can be anything you prefer
  3. First name and last name can be what you want. We only use it to communicate with you. 
  4. The email address must be a valid email address, and we will use this to communicate with you. 

 

Note: the username you pick will be used on ANCOP.au Social and will be visible to all members. This username CANNOT BE CHANGED. 

Provide your CVA membership number. This is the membership number given to you when you subscribed to CVA. We need this number to validate that you are an active member of CVA. 

We do so because only CVA members are eligible for the 50% discount.  

Note:

  1. We collect the minimum data about you as possible. 
  2. Understand that you provide the information about yourself. If it should not be on the Internet, then do not put it on the Internet.
  3. Stripe handles all payment information. We do not store or collect any payment data. We only store the payment if it is successful or not. 
  4. We will not share or reveal your data.  

After successfully creating an account, you will see a page like the one above. This page has the following tabs. 

  • How to connect to ANCOP.CHAT provides details on how to connect to our social network. You can opt to download a desktop or mobile app or just use the browser. We recommend using the apps, as they are more secure. 
  • Add Public Notices. This section was added upon request. For the purpose of CVA, this is not important; feel free to have a look. 
  • Edit your account. This is where you change your password, account details, etc. If you update your password, we automatically update your password on ANCOP.au Social. 
  • Create Video Conference Links: This is where you can create unique meeting rooms that you can share with members or nonmembers for online video conferences. Currently, each room is restricted to 100 users. 
  • Help Desk, here you can submit and track your support tickets you have outstanding with the ANCOP.au team.
