Family Membership
This membership offers your family full access to all the features and benefits of ANCOP.au, designed to help you stay connected and secure. With this plan, both adults and minors in your household can join a community that values privacy, safety, and meaningful connections.
Enjoy a 14-day free trial, after which the annual membership is only $75.00. This investment ensures an ad-free, private, and secure environment for your entire family.
We believe you know best what your family unit is; we also understand that there is no such thing as one size fits all, so we encourage you to contact us if you are looking for a more suitable plan.
Scenario 1: Two Parents with Five Children (Same Family)
A family consisting of two adults and their five children, all under 18. They join as a group under the family membership, with all children receiving individual access to the platform, managed by the parents.
Scenario 2: One Parent with Five Minors (Extended Family or Friends)
A single adult joins the membership plan and includes five minors from extended family or close friends, all under 18. The adult manages the accounts, and the minors benefit from secure access.
Scenario 3: Two Adults with Mixed Minors (Different Families)
Two adults from different households sign up and manage the membership. They include children from their respective families (e.g., two from one family, three from another), ensuring all are under 18.
Scenario 4: Family with One Minor
A couple with only one child (under 18) selects the family plan, benefiting from the group features and lower membership cost.
Scenario 5: Blended Family with Five Children
Two adults, each bringing children from previous relationships, join together in the family plan with up to five minors, ensuring they all meet the age requirement.
How do you check for minors?
At the moment, we do not; we trust your judgement. We like to collect as little information from you as possible. If we need to enforce the Minor status by checking for DOB, we will introduce it.
Here’s how the Family Plan works in clear steps:
Sign Up for Family Plan: After the 14-day trial, an adult registers for the Family Membership (two adults, up to five minors under 18) for $75 annually.
Receive Group Code: Once the adult (primary account holder) signs up, they receive a Group Code. This code allows them to add members to their plan.
Distribute the Group Code: The adult shares this Group Code with up to five minors and an adult. These individuals can use the code to create their accounts by selecting the ANCOP YEARLY plan, entering the group code given in the group code field, and completing the information.
Minors Join the Plan: Using the Group Code, minors sign up for the ANCOP YEARLY plan and gain access to all features. All they have to do is use the Group Code received in the Group Code field and complete the information.
Manage the Group: The adult manages the group’s membership and can view or adjust accounts, ensuring everyone stays connected under the same plan.
In this process, the Group Code is not a discount code but a way to link the other members to the Family Plan. The Account holder will be responsible for those under their Family Plan.
If the Family plan expires, so will all the accounts under that family plan. Members of the family plan can upgrade to create their own account should they want to.
Manage your family plan.
Once you create a family plan, your dashboard will be updated with the family plan/group details. From there, you can manage the following:
- Group Members
- Invite Members
- Generate a new group code if the old one is compromised.
- Invite new members via email.
- Create a new group member
The image shows two sections of your Family Group members management form.
Group Members: This shows how many group members you have and how many you can have; in this example, it shows 0/5, which means you can have five members, such as one adult and four minors or five minors.
The total number of members is what you selected when you subscribed; for that area, we always recommend that you select the maximum allowable.
Invite New Members: This section shows the group code you can distribute and a direct link you can use to send to members. You can easily cut and paste this link in messages, or we can send a message on your behalf to individuals you choose to have in your family group.
Generate a new group code: We do not recommend this option. It can be used to remove a member from your group and prevent the individual from using the original group code.
- Remove the member from your group.
- Create a new code. This will make the existing code invalid.
- Distribute the new code to new members; existing members who are not removed are not impacted by this change.
Invite new members: If you know the emails of the individuals you want to include in your Family Group, you can enter them here. We will send an invite email on your behalf, saving you the trouble of individually contacting each member.
Create Group Member: You can manually create the member’s membership account by entering a username, email, and password. The individual will then receive an email with the login details to join your group.
