How to Create a Conference Meeting: A Step-by-Step Guide

It is part of your ANCOP.au membership, so you know it is secure and is not leaving our network like other services.
Getting Started
- Log in to your account: Begin by logging into your dashboard.
- Navigate to the conference creation tool: Look for the “Create Conference Links” or “Video Conference Links” option in your dashboard.
- Click “Create a Meeting”: This will open a new screen with some explanations and steps to follow.
Setting Up Your Meeting
- Name your meeting: Enter a name for your conference. Remember, no spaces are allowed in the meeting name.
- Set the duration: Select a start and end dates for your meeting. This determines how long people will have access to your conference.
- Generate access codes: Click on the “Generate Code” button. This will create two important links:
- Moderator Link: Share this with trusted individuals who will help you manage the meeting.
- Guest Link: Distribute this to all attendees. Note: Recipients don’t need to be ANCOP members to join.
Joining the Meeting
- Copy the link: Use the “Copy” function to grab the appropriate link (moderator or guest).
- Paste in your browser: Open your web browser and paste the link.
- Enter the meeting: Click “Join Meeting” to enter the conference.
During the Meeting
- By default, you’ll see the ANCOP logo when you join.
- You can enable or disable various features (e.g., audio and video).
- Moderators will have additional control over the meeting.
Ending the Meeting
- Leave the meeting: Click “Leave Meeting” when you’re done.
- Thank you screen: You’ll be directed to a thank you page.
- Return home: Click “Return Home” to return to the ANCOP website.
